Research and MLA style
All research essays are required to be written in MLA style. It is important for students to set aside time to type their essays after school in the computer lab if they don't have computers at home. You can find additional resources here: MLA Style.
You can find a free MLA template in either MS .doc format or the more general .rtf format (usable by all word processors) here: Googledocs MLA
Finally, the following website will automatically format works cited entries and pages using the information you provide: EasyBib.

The Internet Public Library is a resource students can use in order to do research, ask for homework help, or read items of their own interest. This is an excellent resource students can use for all classes. The State of Arizona has also created a site with links to various resources: AZ Public Library. Finally, there is the Tucson-Pima Public Library.
Literature Notes
While I don't usually like to advocate students using literature guides, they can be helpful as long as students use them to supplement their reading of a play, story or novel, and not as a replacement for reading their assigned texts. That said, here are some valuable links:

Students with Macs can find a free Windows Emulator (for running Office or Word) here: Darwine. (Please be advised this is for advanced users)
